What are personal data?
These are data that can be traced directly or indirectly to a natural person. They may include a name, contact or address details and Citizen Service Number. Some of these data, such as ethnic origin, religion or a criminal record, are special personal data.

Personal data of persons under the age of 16
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. has no intention of processing personal data of persons under the age of 16. However, Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. cannot verify whether a visitor to the website is over 16 years of age. If you believe that we have collected personal information from persons below the age of 16 without permission of a parent or guardian, please contact us and we will remove this information.
What is our purpose for processing personal data?
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. processes your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
First and foremost to implement the agreement we enter into with you. We obviously need to be able to get in touch with you (and you with us);
In order to comply with our administration duty as laid down in Book 3, Section 15i of the Dutch Civil Code;
To verify your identity with a valid proof of identity;
In order to comply with our archiving obligation;
To send invoices;
For any marketing and communication activities;
To comply with our other legal and regulatory obligations.
What personal data do we process?
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. processes the following personal data in order to make contact, to fulfil our obligations and to be able to submit and, where necessary, collect invoices: first names, surnames and any job titles
gender
date and place of birth
nationality
home address and country
phone number(s)
e-mail address
payment details
type of identity card and ID number.
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. processes the personal data mentioned above because they have been provided by you on your own initiative, have been obtained as part of the provision of services, have been provided to us by third parties or have become known through public sources.
On what bases do we process your personal data?
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. processes your personal data exclusively on the basis of a legal obligation, the performance of an agreement, your obtained consent or a legitimate interest.
Cameras for security purposes For security purposes
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. will install cameras on, around and at the building in which the rented accommodation is located. The cameras will only be installed in the public (common) areas, and therefore not in the rented accommodation. Furthermore, no images and videos will be made or can be made of the interior of the rented accommodation. You agree that Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. makes and stores these images. The visual material will not be used by Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. for any purpose other than the aforementioned security. The visual material will in principle be stored for one month, and in any case no more than six months, after which period the material will be removed, unless the images are necessary for a criminal investigation. You have the right to request Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. and/or its manager to allow inspection of the (relevant) visual material made.
Third parties and personal data
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. only shares personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for our services, with due allowance for the purposes included in this privacy policy at all times. For example, the management and maintenance of the rented accommodation, the provision of services, the provision of your personal data with respect to (legal) proceedings.
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. may furthermore provide personal data to a third party, such as a supervisor or other authority vested with public authority, if the situation is subject to a legal obligation.
We sometimes engage a third party who processes your personal data on behalf of and on the instructions of Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V., such as an IT supplier. We always enter into a processing agreement with third parties to ensure that your personal data is treated with care and confidentially.
If Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. engages a third party that offers services as a controller, such third party is responsible for the (further) processing of your personal data.
Security
We take appropriate organisational and technical measures to secure and protect your personal data in the best possible way. All information is treated confidentially and is stored on secure servers.
Storage period
We will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the above purposes or as required by law or regulation.
Privacy rights

You can request us to access, limit, transfer or delete your personal data. You may also object to the use of your personal data or revoke previously given consent. You will receive further notice from us as soon as possible, and in any case within four weeks after receipt of your request.
There may be circumstances in which Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. cannot, or cannot fully, comply with your request as the data subject, such as for example the statutory retention periods.
Reporting a data breach
If, despite all precautions, a data breach occurs, Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. will comply with the duty to report data breaches and we will report the breach to the Personal Data Authority within 72 hours of its discovery.
Should you discover a data leak, Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. kindly asks you to share this with Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. as soon as possible and in any case within 24 hours after you have discovered the leak. We can then take immediate action.
Liability
This privacy statement is only related to the personal data processed by Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. for the purposes of the items discussed in this agreement. Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for (the operation and/or content of) websites or services of third parties.
Amendment
Atrium Vastgoedontwikkeling B.V. reserves the right to amend this privacy policy. Such changes will be published on our website, and you are therefore kindly asked to consult our website regularly.
