Below you will find the most frequently asked questions about our short stay apartments in Leiden.

What is the minimum and maximum stay?
The minimum stay is 2 weeks and the maximum stay is 6 months per apartment.
What is included in the price?
The price includes use of the apartment, utilities (gas, water, electricity), WiFi, clean bed linen and towels.
The cleaning costs are € 95.00, and the tourist tax is € 3.50 p.p. (price level June 2025)
Is it possible to cancel free of charge?
Yes, free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival.
After that, cancellation costs may be charged.
Up to 7 days, 50% is charged, within 7 days 100%.
For bookings for multiple months, there is a cancellation period of one month.
Is there a reception or 24/7 support?
There is usually no reception on site, as these are independent accommodations.

How can I contact you if I have questions and/or problems during my
stay?

How and when do I receive the keys to the apartment?
A few days before check-in you will receive an email with the instructions and the check-in code.
This also contains download links for PDF instruction manuals of the various equipment in the apartment.
Is there a lift in the building?
No, Pakasa does not have a lift for the apartments on the first and second floor.
However, the two apartments on the ground floor are fully equipped for the disabled.
Are pets and/or smoking allowed in the apartments?
No, for reasons of hygiene and an allergy-free environment, pets are not allowed.
Smoking is also not allowed in the apartments.

Is the apartment suitable for children or babies?
Many apartments are child-friendly.
Ask in advance for a cot or high chair, then we will make sure it is there before you check in.
Is there parking available?
Pakasa does not have the possibility to park in front of the complex.
However, you can park your car nearby (paid) in the parking lot of the Kaasmarkt or in the parking garage of the Albert Heijn supermarket.

Is there secure bicycle storage available?
Pakasa does not have the possibility to store your bicycle(s) in the building itself.
However, if you want to bring your own bicycle(s), please let us know, then you can borrow the key to the Pakasa garage box.
This garage box is located only a few steps away from the entrance of Pakasa, so your bicycle is within easy reach.
